Acupuncture for Stress Relief during IVF Fertility Treatments

Date Published: 21 May, 2018
Article Keyword Tags: Tags: , ,

Fertility and IVF treatments can be stressful for any woman but acupuncture has been shown to help reduce stress levels (Grant and Cochrane 2014). Here at Haynes Acupuncture Gold Coast we focus in assisting people going through IVF treatments. New research has shown that acupuncture helps to reduce stress in women during IVF treatments. Stress reduced significantly for women receiving several acupuncture treatments prior to the day of embryo transfer, along with acupuncture on the day of transfer (Sutton et al. 2015). These reduced stress levels can increase other hormone production like progesterone, which is vital in IVF and fertility treatments.

Why risk anything on your IVF treatment and use acupuncture to assist you through your journey. Here at Haynes Acupuncture Gold Coast we use all modern and up to date techniques in assisting women going through IVF, call to book an appointment and speak to one of our acupuncturists.
